On Tuesday, Haiti was rocked by a deadly 7.0 earthquake that has been catastrophe to the land and to its people. THOUSANDS of lives are feared lost and those that did survive are in need of your help.
Deltas have always stood up and reached out during times of need so please visit our Delta Foundation at www.DSTDFI.org to make a donation to the Haiti relief effort. We will then funnel all collective dollars to the Red Cross.

I am truly excited to serve as your 37th president of Detroit Alumnae Chapter. This will be an exciting year and we are counting on you to help make it a success. With the purchase of our new home and our impactful community service projects, there are so many ways for you to take part in this 2009-10 year sorority. Sorors, we have much to do and will need to “ROUND UP” all of our sorors. We need you to step up and serve the Detroit community in one of its greatest times of need. My philosophy is, if we each do a little, no one has to do a lot. Let’s leverage our size, resources and energy and continue Past President Orr’s mission of “Going to Another Level.” We look forward to seeing you on the 2nd Saturday of each month for sorority meeting. Remember to check our web site often for the latest news and to sign up to receive our electronic Detroit Alumnae Chapter News Letter. And remember to Love, Laugh and Lift.
