Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 13, 1913 by 22 collegiate women at Howard University. It is the largest African American women organization with chapters throughout the world, dedicated to servicing the community. Delta Sigma Theta has a five point programmatic Thrust which establishes the foundation of the Detroit Alumnae Chapter programs.
