DST Get F.I.T. Helps Women Plan for Future

The Detroit Alumnae Chapter, in partnership with AARP, is working to help women between the ages of 45-64 improve their quality of life. Through a series of workshops, the program encourages women to get in shape financially, physically, and mentally. Detroit Alumnae Chapter is one of a few chapters in the nation selected to participate in this important initiative.

CREATE T-SHIRT TO OBSERVE SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS

Create a t-shirt for Take Back the Night Detroit 2012. Design a shirt for yourself or someone you know who has been touched by domestic and/or sexual violence. Shirts will be displayed as part of the Clothesline Project at the event on April 13.

Join us as we rise to the national challenge of walking 2,013 miles by January 1, 2013, through Deltas Keep It Moving, an initiative focused on helping our sorors, families, and friends get fit. Let's move!

HOMELESS COMMITTEE SEEKS VOLUNTEERS

The Homeless Committee seeks volunteers to assist with its meal service at Crossroads on Sunday, June 3, 2012. Fifty (50) volunteers are needed to help serve about 700 people. Donations of food and cash are also welcome.
