Bowling for Big Brothers/Big Sisters

DAC Participates in 4th Annual Bowling Challenge

Detroit Alumnae Chapter sorors recently participated in the fourth annual African American Greek Bowling Challenge, part of the annual Bowl for Kids' Sake, which is Big Brothers/Big Sisters' largest fundraising effort. DAC reached its fundraising goal, donating more than $500 to support mentoring programs for young people in metropolitan Detroit.

Teen LIFT Program Takes Off on January 7, 2012

Detroit Alumane Chapter will host orientation for its Teen LIFT program at DSTDFI Headquarters on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. The program, which is open to students between the ages of 13 and 17, provides youth with academic, career, cultural, and personal development enrichment experiences. Activities scheduled to take place during the year include a tour of HBCUs, workshops, and presentations from speakers.
