Bowling for Big Brothers/Big Sisters

DAC Participates in 4th Annual Bowling Challenge

Detroit Alumnae Chapter sorors recently participated in the fourth annual African American Greek Bowling Challenge, part of the annual Bowl for Kids' Sake, which is Big Brothers/Big Sisters' largest fundraising effort. DAC reached its fundraising goal, donating more than $500 to support mentoring programs for young people in metropolitan Detroit.

CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY (OPEN TO THE PUBLIC)

In honor of Black History Month, the Arts and Letters Committee is hosting events to enhance awareness of and appreciation for African American culture. "A Musical Legacy: An Afternoon Music Program Honoring Black History Month," will feature several performances highlighting the rich heritage and harmonies found in a variety of genres. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Arts and Letters Committee at artsandletters@detroitdeltas.org.
