Detroit Alumnae Chapter Supports Take Back the Night Detroit 2012

As part of Detroit Alumnae Chapter's Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Initiative, we joined forces with Marygrove College to host Take Back the Night Detroit 2012. Nearly 200 people gathered to take a stance against domestic and sexual violence in our community. Soror Larmender Davis, coordinator of DAC's Domestic Violeance and Sexual Assault Initiative, brought remarks. The event included a survivor speak-out, a march, a healing tent, and the DAC organized Clothesline Project.
