The Official 100th Birthday Celebration | Sunday, January 13, 2013 | 3:00 p.m. (Deltas Only)
More than 750 members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. from chapters across Michigan gathered at Corinthian Baptist Church in Hamtramck to join us in celebrating the sorority's 100th birthday. During the ecumenical service, members praised God for 100 years of leadership and love. Reverend Dr. DeeDee Coleman, pastor of Russell Street Baptist Church and a member of the sorority, delivered an inspirational message. Other clergy members representing various churches shared special prayers and litanies for our illustrious sisters and our members. The DAC Praise Team and Choir blessed participants through song. All participants received a commemorative bookmark with a special Founders Day poem written by Monice Mitchell Sims. |

Founders Day Celebration | Saturday, January 26, 2013 | 4:00 p.m. (Open to the Public)
During our 100th Founders Day dinner, U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Ann Claire Williams, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., delivered the keynote address during which she shared the lessons she learned and wonderful memories of the sisterhood shared with other members of the sorority. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal that included a special Centennial edition red velvet cake, a tribute to our Founders, inspirational selections from the DAC Choir, and an original song written by jazz singer and DAC member Yolanda Day in honor of our Founders. ..
